-- From Coffee Beans a Life Raises –-

What once began as a struggle for survival through illegal hunting, forest encroachment, and uncontrolled logging has transformed into a journey of sustainability and hope for the people of Mount Puntang. In 2017, after facing environmental damage, floods, disrupted wildlife ecosystems, and social challenges, the community received a 306.12-hectare social forestry partnership permit from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry. This initiative led to the establishment of LMDH Bukit Amanah Gunung Puntang on October 26, 2017.

Located in Campakamulya Village, Cimaung District, Bandung Regency, West Java, the community—led by Deni Sofian Dimyati—is committed to environmental preservation through sustainable coffee cultivation using Green Farming methods. By minimizing synthetic chemicals and utilizing organic fertilizers made from coffee cherry skins and livestock waste, the community promotes ecosystem sustainability, human health, and the production of high-quality coffee with authentic character.
